I think part of the problem is that I'm working on Italian for the first time, but I also thought I'd be clever and try to pick up the French I haven't studied since college.

I hit a bit of wall in the early lessons. I finally had to go to a different site and read some of their verb conjugation stuff, and then it made better sense when I went back in.
