- Jennifer Dittrich

- Spidra Webster

chilled teething rings worked well for our kids. and infant liquid Tylenol, which is no longer on the market due to lawsuits becos some ppl won't read the instructions on the package. :P

We did the washcloth thing too, it especially helped with all the drool. For the fruits/vegetables, we had a little mesh thing that we put the fruit in, then baby could hold it and gnaw it without making a mess or choking. Both items were only put in the freezer for about 20 min. We we warned away from teething rings for various reasons, but were told if we did use it, to never freeze it, only refrigerate it.

Frozen waffles. The cold numbs, they won't hurt the kid if he ingests some, and they have built-in drool cups and absorbancy powers.
- Soup in a TARDIS
Get the wash cloths wet, roll em up like taquitos, you can fit a bunch in a Ziploc, freeze em...toaster waffles straight from the freezer are great, but those and frozen fruit require supervision, don't forget. As they thaw babies can bite off pieces even with just gums.

I second the frozen teething rings.

M has hated anything remotely cold to help soothe her teething. :( Rubber necklaces and the rubber/gel rings with like bristles on there is all she'll use. I have about 10 frozen type teethers just collecting dust.

Analgesics.

Vibrating teething toys. The mesh feeder with a chunk of frozen banana or an ice cube in it. Tylenol. Silicone and wood teething rings. Sophie the Giraffe. (Seriously; it's an awesome teething toy.) Patience. A babysitter. (We JUST did this.)
- Jenica
The mesh pacifier looking thing that Jennifer linked worked great with my kiddos when they were teething! We used frozen strawberries or cut up frozen grapes inside. :) Also there's baby orajel.

Thanks peeps trying things out so far no luck with the cold teething toys they are just as unwanted as Tamara's collection. Aiming for washcloth idea today.

The washcloth thing works for a ittle while for Marcus. Mom also has some drops that seems to do the trick. I'll ask her about those today.
