This is science, working as intended: As our knowledge of the universe grows, things we had previously taken as fact must be re-evaluated and reclassified. (Examples: plate tectonics, phlogiston.) Bemoaning Pluto's lost status as a planet strikes me as similar to legislating pi to be 3.0 or complaining that the Earth feels less significant if it's not the center of the universe. - Stephen Mack
