Very true. A terrible waste of fossil fuel, a nightmare for the ozone layer, all of that is true. However, Concorde at its heart was about a pursuit of excellence, of superior design and innovation. It achieved all of those things, and long after its gone, the atmosphere of striving for that excellence will remain and endure, and I thing that's a pretty positive legacy. - Iain Baker
