This is one of the hottest, dampest summers I can remember. For the first time in my adult life I'm getting mildew on my walls even though we have AC (it's a common phenomenon in the south in houses without it). I'm sitting in my 72 degree house in shorts and a tee shirt and I'm burning up b/c it's oppressively humid in here.

Over here it has been cold. It's been overcast for about 2-3 weeks save a few days. A bit odd.

Good A/C should pull the moisture out too, though.

Sadly in a lot of places we're not even in the hottest part of the summer yet. August here we come.

Our central air unit is 1 year old and larger than this house needs, Josh. It only pulls moisture from the air when it's running though, and with so much humidity in the air I'd have to have it running 24/7 to dry the air out completely.

It's starting to get muggy here with the coming of the monsoon season. Yesterday was nasty. :(
