bunniesarethebest: I find it insane to think that there are people who actually get their families / children an actual rabbit for Easter. Who in their right mind thinks this is an okay thing to do?! Wanting a pet rabbit is one thing, but just because the mascot for Easter is a rabbit doesn’t mean you have to get a real one. Rabbits are never a... - http://silas216.tumblr.com/post...
For people who really want a rabbit, check your local shelter or rescue starting next week.

I am always surprised that people do this so blithely. I knew lots of kids who had rabbits growing up, but they were all from families that had at least a quasi farm, and often had other livestock, and the rabbits mostly lived outdoors with hutches, etc. It never occurred to me until I saw PSA's like this that someone would get them as a novelty pet for Easter :(

If elected president, Walker says that he’ll pull back on any nuclear agreement on day one. And revealingly, he says he doesn’t care if our trading partners aren’t willing to go along with us. He’ll have America go it alone. This is a good encapsulation of Walker’s seemingly total ignorance of this topic. What brought Iran to the table and forced... - http://silas216.tumblr.com/post...
It is the year 2015, and we Americans are idly musing about what particular methods kill people most harmlessly. There probably are, as Stroud and McCoy suggest, only miniscule differences in suffering when most viable methods are carried out precisely, because life is fragile and relatively easy to snuff. The bizarre reality, then, is that we are... - http://silas216.tumblr.com/post...
