"Noooooo! We're not stopping looking at SSDs. But in order to keep an A List properly up to date to the standards we want to keep, you need to do more than check them - you need to thoroughly test everything on the market. That's not an insubstantial task." - Ian Betteridge

"James - could you do me a favour and email me a screen grab of the site showing the bits that are being blocked? There's probably nothing we can do, but I'm curious about it... ([email protected] is the address to use)." - Ian Betteridge

"Disqus lets you sort the comments, either by "Best", "Newest", or "Oldest" - there's a little "Sort by..." dropdown at the top. Thanks for flagging the rogue-looking news article - I'll look into it." - Ian Betteridge
Re: All change on PC Pro... tell us what you think - http://www.pcpro.co.uk/web-dev...
"To be honest, we've struggled to keep every category in the A List up to date. We take the A Lists very seriously, and making sure that they really represent the best products on the market is very time consuming. Given this, we worked with the Labs team to work out which ones we should keep and which ones should go, based on both upcoming plans for content (if we're not planning on covering lots of SSD's, for example, we can't really make an A List) and on the interest in each category (based on the traffic we receive and the number of people searching for that kind of content). Unfortunately, that means some categories which people have found useful have gone." - Ian Betteridge

"(Hello! I work in Dennis Digital, and have had a hand in the migration, so happy to answer any questions when I can...) The platform we've moved to includes the ability to make sites response pretty easily. We haven't done that yet on PC Pro because we're adopting a staged approach, and moving to a completely different platform was (as you can imagine) a pretty big challenge on its own. We're going to make some big changes to the design of the site next year, and (fingers crossed) moving to responsive will be one of them." - Ian Betteridge
