Re: Apple sides with Microsoft in closely watched patent dispute with Google - http://www.geekwire.com/2015...
"Design patents are simply NOT POSSIBLE. It is a friggen joke that anyone, you, me or anyone is actually on the Internet discussing if it's ok for a friggen company like Apple to patent that Smartphones should be rectangular with a display in the middle and etc. There is no design patents allowed in the smartphone industry or in any industry. They can trademark a specific mold but they cannot demand that no competitor can make phones that look similar, it's just a friggen joke that anyone is discuss this. And the only people giving Apple credit are either pure Apple fanboys or are actually wannabe lawyers trying to defend Apple's disgusting behavior online. It's just more of Apple's BS marketing, to make Techmeme fanboys think Apple invented the Smartphone, or some BS marketing angle like that. The only thing Apple should have a patent for is making a lot of money on hugely overpriced hardware while spreading FUD about competitors, just a giant waste of time." - Charbax
Re: Apple sides with Microsoft in closely watched patent dispute with Google - http://www.geekwire.com/2015...
"You clearly don't understand that Apple has zero valid patent. A company can't just go in its own "private" corner and decide that they have the unique right to do something that earns them money. This has absolutely NO RELATION to patents, to inventing, to innovation or to anything. Apple patents and Microsoft patents are all illegal and totally worthless, they have NEVER been proven in real international courts, they would instantly and all be totally invalidated in any real lawsuit." - Charbax

"The tech world would have been way higher quality if Microsoft didn't have such an illegal monopoly over PCs and Desktops over these past decades with their shitty proprietary licensed software. Free and open source software drastically improves the quality of technology in every single way, it drastically improves society wherever technology has an influence over society. Do I suggest that open source free software developers shouldn't get paid? Absolutely not, they should get paid. This is why I think we should pay them way more through taxes for example, where logging of code submissions and measuring of code popularity would be a great way to pay open source free software programmers based on how popular and useful their software submissions are. They get paid other ways right now, through open source companies, through companies like Google who benefit greatly from the quality of open source. But for sure more can be done. Allowing Microsoft and Apple to shut down open source..." - Charbax

"Every single Tech company in the world is an Android company, OF COURSE that Android companies own way more than 10x more relevant Smartphone patents than any of Apple or Microsoft. The bogus system allows for Apple and Microsoft to sue Android companies in CORRUPT and BOGUS courts in the USA. Those "happenings" are just media stunt BS waste of time by Apple and Microsoft which they use as MARKETING, to make bogus Tech medias think that those have any type of true ownership over the Android total domination over the mobile devices market. No company is allowed to go and block other companies from implementing whichever Smartphone idea and system that they want to implement when using free and open source software. If you don't believe in this basic fact, then you support a system where Microsoft can shut down Linux. Which makes you a complete bozo." - Charbax

"No way does Apple have ANY right to patent such any of their ideas, those are not inventions, they are completely worthless and should remain so. Anyone who wants to slide to unlock a phone may do so absolutely for free. Slide to unlock was invented thousands of years ago, just because they "port" an existing idea to a smartphone display and that they claim to be the first to have done it (ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE) does not allow them to block everyone else from doing the same. Motorola invented the friggen Phone and Smartphone, I had a Motorola Smartphone in 2003 with same size, rounded corners, slide to unlock, dual-sided video chat, touch screen, apps etc etc all those features that Apple and Microsoft claim to own, I do not think Motorola should charge companies like Apple and Microsoft to use their inventions, but for sure that Apple and Microsoft should be exterminated from the market if they even consider being able to block Android from doing whatever Android wants to do and..." - Charbax

"Linux and Android is free, and BS companies like Microsoft and Apple have absolutely ZERO ownership/control over any single part of Android and how Android works, that is the whole point here. Apple and Microsoft may charge people for their BS products as much as they want, but they cannot go around claiming that Android is illegal, that Android makers have to pay them a BS royalty, that somehow Apple or Microsoft can control Android, that is the whole point here. Linux and Android is free, 100% free, and NOBODY must be allowed to slow it down, to ban it, to block it or anything. When Apple and Microsoft can agree to that basic fact, there will be no counter-lawsuits from the Android camp to kill them off. Overall the Android companies own 10x more relevant and important patents compared to Apple and Microsoft so these BS companies know that their attempts at blocking Android are worthless, a waste of time, but that is also part of the marketing that companies like Apple and Microsoft..." - Charbax
Re: Apple sides with Microsoft in closely watched patent dispute with Google - http://www.geekwire.com/2015...
"Applesoft do not own how things should be done with smartphones, all are standard essential ideas that anyone making a smartphone uses, none are worth $0.0001 and nobody making Android should pay Microsoft or Apple $0.0001 for it. This is all that matters, these companies have absolutely zero ownership over any part of Android, and they must never be allowed to block or ban or claim any royalty payments over any part of Android. For as long as those disgusting companies try to block Android, then it is perfectly fine for all the Android companies, not just Google with their Moto patents, to go out and defend Android against those companies disgusting behavior. You can't just claim some essential inventions have to be licensed fairly while other essential ideas can be proprietary to whomever was the first to get a BS totally worthless "patent" on the idea." - Charbax

"Apple and Microsoft are the ones unfairly suing the Android industry over standard essential not-original BS patents such as for sliding to unlock, having icons to touch on a screen, having rounded corner designs, being able to sync with microsoft stuff, being able to sync with apple itunes, all those things should require exactly $0 in payments from Android makers, that is the whole point. The only purpose of the Moto and Android industry patents, are to stop Applesoft's disgusting attempts at slowing down Android's total domination over the market. Android must remain 100% free and open source, and Apple and Microsoft nor Oracle or anyone else must have zero ability to slow that down or to claim BS royalty payments for things that should not allow for any patent payment." - Charbax

"It depends which ARM Chromebook you have. The first generation ARM Chromebook was released in 2012, so people shouldn't be using that as a benchmark for performance, that was was faster than the 2012 Intel Atom/Celeron Chromebook." - Charbax
