Book rental similar to Netflix - Adriana

I see services like this once in a while, and at first I'm like, hey, Netflix for books! But then I think, wait, that's like the library except the library is free... - Jandy

@Jandy...I must say I agree with you. This is not worth it for those that can get to and fro from the library. Unfortunately I have a heart condition that prevents me from driving and I can't stand relying on others. I'm not big on asking for favors, so Bookswim would be great for me. Books delivered to my home and picked up from my home! Perfect ; ) - Adriana

Adriana, that's a great point, and BookSwim is perfect for that situation. Some libraries I think have a mail/home delivery option as well, but I think it'd be a lot more hassle to set it up than this would be. - Jandy

You also probably don't have to wait forever for a new, popular book to become available. I've been #326 in line for a book that they had 50 copies of. - Lis

On the flip side, it's probably harder to get older, out of print, or specialized books. - Jandy

I use to be in one of those rental book clubs. I sucked at it. For some reason Netflix works for me , but others don't. haha - Shevonne
