Going to shop for a wedding gown tomorrow. Kinda freaked out about the whole thing.
Am I supposed to dress up? Are they going to expect me to strip down in front of them? If so, should I wear nice underwear? Or would that be weird? - Jeanette Bosman
Good luck! I'd suggest snapping photos of each you try on and crowd sourcing the dress decision but the groom might see. ;-) - EricaJoy
The groom promises not to use his FriendFeed superpowers to peek, should the bride choose to use a private FriendFeed room for this purpose :) - Tudor Bosman
Hey, that's a good idea! Such a smart monkey, no wonder I'm marrying you. :) - Jeanette Bosman
Thanks for getting the idea ball rolling Erica :) - Jeanette Bosman
You're welcome Jeanette and yay honest groom! - EricaJoy
Good luck! I love the FF "fitting room" idea. I wish J. Crew wedding would have been around when I got married -- not too expensive (compared to designer gowns) and very pretty, flattering, and simple. I had a really hard time finding something that I liked and that fit and that wasn't super expensive. I ended up having a local seamstress make something. - Ginger Makela Riker
LOL My grandma always used to say "Always wear clean underwear when you go out, you never know when you might be in an accident and have to be taken to the hospital and stripped naked." Well, my underwear is certainly always clean (ew, why would I EVER wear dirty underwear Gramma?) but everyone knows that girls have different "grades" of underwear. - Jeanette Bosman
You know, stuff to sleep in (when you have to), stuff for high rise pants, low rise pants, fancy stuff for dates, and then there is also the silly category which may include the likeness of hello kitty, garfield, or maybe the days of the week. :) - Jeanette Bosman
So how did the shopping go? - Anne Bouey
