3d is here, with the nvidia system, and 3d-ready samsung lcd monitor, or mitsubishi dlp tv, but we can't record our own 3d :( because there are only a few 3d webcams for sale. If you are gonna do 3d, you mine as well do it in HD. - David Lynch

Ironically, you don't need a 3D capable system atm, to make good use of a 3D camcorder. Dual Video footage can always be reprocessed for future 3D formats. - David Lynch

I want two combined dslr cameras that shoot 60fps each in 2560x1600 resolution, mounted on gigapan panorama maker, then I want to run it through some 3d reconstruction enhancement and modeling software automatically, and display it on a wacom pen, multitouch 2560x1600 3d oled screen mounted to an arm on my pneumatic round table with wheels. - David Lynch
