Kanye West vs. white mediocrity: The real story behind Beck, Beyonce and “SNL” 40 - Arthur Chu - Salon http://www.salon.com/2015... via Chieze Okoye https://www.facebook.com/chieze...
Excellent. This is what many black people have been saying for years. I don't even like West's music all that much, but his critiques are almost always right. As for me, I've always found amusement in white people who have something to say about Kanye. It's clear most of them have never heard his music. Most of them listen to exceptionally shitty white musicians who stole from black musicians. Most of them don't even realize how racist they sound when they criticize him. Just look at comments made here about him; white women practically pissing their pants when it seems like some other person is knocking him down a peg. Gee. How original. They don't seem to understand that to people like Kanye (me, okay), childish pranks and saying shit to the media, but not to his face makes them look even sadder and proves his point. - Anika
