The sex shop I applied to didn't call me for an interview this past week. I really thought they would. I am trying not to be overwhelmed with angst about this, and garnering the gumption to follow-up call them tomorrow. :(

Calling is pretty much necessary. And as much as I hate phone calls, it's really not that hard. Just a simple hi, who you are and ask if they've made a decision on your application. You can do it! *shakes pom-poms*

Always give a follow-up call. Often, they want to know who really wants the job.
