So. Cable dude flaked. He was supposed to be here between 5-7pm. Then by 7:30. Now by 9pm. I told them I'd call Monday to reschedule, but I'm considering canceling the whole thing. What's your vote?
We like living sans-cable and highly recommend it.

It's customer service like that that makes it nice to cut the cord. As long as you have good internet, you can get a lot of your TV from Hulu, Amazon, Netflix, YouTube and various network sites.

agree with the cord-cutting ... as long as you don't need to watch anything on espn. if you like espn, you're hosed without cable. as for me, giving up football coincided nicely with giving up cable. ymmv.

This service was to improve our internet, and upgrade both the modem and the dvr... with no dollar increase to our bill. I'm not sure we'd actually see in improvement but I figured that for the same price going with the latest equipment made sense.
