"The old CMS was actually an unholy mishmash of two systems: one completely custom, and a bolted-on Wordpress install (the reasons for doing it that way are lost in the mists of time). It wasn't pretty, and it was also essentially unsupported. Moving to the new CMS means we're running on the same as almost all of Dennis' sites, including the likes of Auto Express, Evo, Men's Fitness etc. This means not only does PC Pro have a properly supported platform (with a big, in-house development/design team behind it) but features we develop for one site can easily be deployed across of all of them. So although the CMS change might not sound a big deal, it definitely will be in the future." - Ian Betteridge
