Yeah, I'd heard about this. I actually mentioned it in my comment on Google Reader, but FriendFeed doesn't copy Google Reader comments. Here's my comment from Reader: "I'd thought about doing this, or perhaps getting our driveway paved with Penrose paving stones. As someone mentions in the comments, Penrose has allegedly sued people in the past for using Penrose tilings (or tilings that are very similar). It makes me wonder if that smile he has in that first photo is because he's thinking about the royalties he's getting for the floor he's standing on." - Laurence Gonsalves
