I've had a chromebook for about two weeks now - love it. It's changed my life in much the same way the iphone did. My Macbook Air has just sat on a shelf, totally redundant.

It's light, convenient, and fast enough for browsing. It's faults are compensated by the fact I can always use my iMac for tasks which need occasional "grunt", and by the fact it's so cheap....

I've really loved mine - it is a bit creaky at this point, so I might replace it soon, but had the same experience. Made my other laptop mostly redundant.
