My eye hurts, not the eyeball itself around the outside edge. It hurts to blink and is very sensitive to pressure. I woke up like this; kinda feels like someone punched me in my sleep. Not that I'd know what that feels like. This is the third time this has happened, does anyone have any idea what's up with this?

I'm not really worried, since nothing bad came of it when this happened before, but now I'm getting really curious as to WTF leads to early morning eye pain, since I'm pretty sure I was not punched in my sleep. It usually lasts a few days. Hm.

Man, this is totally manageable, but it's crazy how much it hurts considering nothing appears to be wrong. I need to stop having sleep fights!

I think you got it, Tamara... my lower eyelid got a bit swollen the next day. I can't believe how much it hurt for how tiny it is!
