Does my car use more energy when I have the AC fan set to high vs low? Does the actual AC unit have to work harder or does a fan just blow more air through it? #naiveaboutcars

The compressor load does not change. The electrical load on the battery does go up, but that doesn't add a noticeable load to the alternator.

yeah john's right - but running with windows up and a/c on is better on mpg than windows down w/o ac on
