I have worked from home for the last 3 years, including for the entire life of Picplum up until a few weeks ago where another startup offered us some free space for a while. Wow, it's like I walk in the door and my focus is instantly flipped on. I suddenly don't care what's on Hacker News or Facebook or even the company campfire. I just close everything and get to work. And I moved my big monitor and nice herman miller from home to the office so I have little motivation to do any computing at home anymore, so I end up doing less aimless browsing as a result.
