Pete, I was talking with a friend going through a hard time last night, and didn't sleep well. But I got the kids to school on time and have answered some e-mails and had coffee, so the day has improved. - Stephen Mack

There are some moments where I feel the repeated daily cycles are Sysiphean. Spent all day Wednesday answering e-mails, and there were several hundred more in the morning. Making breakfast for the kids -- wait, didn't they just eat yesterday? They need to eat AGAIN? How did all these clothes get dirty? I just washed them a week ago. My step count reset to zero? But I didn't even make my goal yesterday. - Stephen Mack
Last night, at some dark middle of the night, hearing the soft snores of sleeping young people in other rooms of the house, hearing some urgent sirens rising and falling in the distance in response to some unknown but likely temporary crisis, the endless energy and effort required seemed overwhelming. But this morning is just another day. - Stephen Mack
Stephen, *hugs*. - joey - team everyone
