It's not hard to hit that limit. You don't have to be a super star. You can be in a few clans and fill that up. I'm trying to figure out the cost implication of the change, but I don't know enough about the technical architecture

Sure they'll get increased network traffic, but is it really that much? I have a feeling this was some arbitrary number determined by a pointless focus group

Even so, the number is 7 years old. Think of all teh games that came out in the past year alone, and that will come out this holiday. Now, think of the ones you play online, and divide that by the number of slots you have. Then it starts to get REALLY limiting.
