It's also annoying that they sell 3 packs with 2 beige/khaki pairs and 1 gray or dark brown pair. I only wear khaki or stone colored khakis to work so gray or brown socks are worthless. Based on what Macy's is selling, you'd think that people are now wearing black socks with khakis, which, in my opinion, is just bizarre.

Heh, Jennifer, I'm a stickler with these things. I follow the leather to leather, cloth to cloth rule (belt should match shoes, socks should match pants). Andrew, the universe has a sick sense of humor since it knows that I have cats.

It is what it is. I have a work dress code that precludes a lot of flash; socks and pocket squares are pretty much the only place I can have fun, so I do.

Spidra, normal women's socks (9-11) have a shorter foot, and the queen size ones (10-12) have a slightly longer foot but also wider calf. Men's socks are 10-13. Unless he has a shoe size less than 9, he can't get away with women's socks. (most of the time I can't even get away with women's socks...but my hubby with the size 8 foot can)
