I've been standing up at the computer for over a year, and I stand up most of the time. I switch between stand up and sit down multiple times a day, by virtue of moving the screen and keyboard table up and down via an ergotron arm, which holds my 30". 1920x1200 would be plenty, except I use large spreadsheets. My next improvement, I'm thinking of switching to a AV cart, which is thinner and has wheels. My current table is not necessary, but a monitor arm, and a bed table is necessary. It is so adjustable, would never go back. - David Lynch
