I am not actively using Friendfeed anymore. I will check back from time to time but don't really participate in convos so have disconnected all of my links.
@rbonini I've removed Buzz altogether. Just too pissed off over Google's epic fail of not supporting Android 1.5 & 1.6.
Blimey Travis at least give it some time before giving up :) - Russell G
Russ as per my twitter post on this. I reckon it is seriously shitty that Google will make this available for *every* iPhone, but only for the latest versions of their own phones. I bought an HTC Hero in December and it will not run on that at all. It sucks. I really had high hopes for it, but I am stuck in an 18mth contract that still has 16mths left on it and I can't get the latest Google product on it... because Google are not making it possible. Android phones running on v1.5 and 1.6 are almost 80% of all Android phones and none of them can get access to Buzz... unless they root their phone! Pathetic. - travispuk
@RealBillBailey I used to laugh so hard watching Black Books. Just brilliant, big fan right here!
@AndrewTerry Dammit Andrew I was just about to send you a friend request to join my Mafia squad! ;)
@rbonini I am downloading the RC now. Whooo Hooo http://www.microsoft.com/downloa...
@kfury Maybe they don't like your style Kevin. I say look out Facebook Apps Dashboard!
@thomashawk Done and Followed!
@thomashawk I would have thought that flickr would not allow it as I would assume that information is not in any standard type of format.
Whoooooo just got Buzz in my Gmail. Brilliant!
Lucky you! I got Buzz on one of my gmail accounts, just not the one I use! - Russell G
@fayezmutairi Yeah but by then I will be at home enjoying dinner, not working on my laptop.
@LANjackal A bit pathetic that being that they are just letting you borrow it. Now you need to rent a blanket.
Damn VS2010 RC news - 'we're shooting to post the bits around 12PM Pacific Standard Time. Stay tuned for formal news.'... so tomorrow then.
@rbonini @parislemon I bet they do, just none of them think about a clear... wonder how it would work anyhow. Take you back to the start?
C'mon Google, my index finger is getting tired of hitting the F5 key in Gmail. Give me Buzz before I break my keyboard... please...
@rbonini BTW, still no RC. Even though it is 08:30 PDT... *WKAE UP AMERICA*!
@rbonini Not really a question for me as I know that it will not be... Most americans think there is a giant cliff around the coast of USA.
@AndrewTerry Well why should she, I mean you are the door porter! ;)
RT @chrismessina: Really excited about Google's new 1GB fiber-to-the-home experiment! http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2010...
Ah, but will it be in the UK, that is the question. - Roberto Bonini
@Zee Nothing here Zee.
Aaaaarrgghhhhh stil no VS2010 RC for General Release. I can just tell this is going to hit as I leave for home.
@chrisnixon I had a good chuckle over the Blair piece. Very Funny stuff.
Still no VS2010 RC for non-MSDN, I guess it is not the 10th Feb in the US yet :(
Ah :( Hope it's out by the time I get home this afternoon - Roberto Bonini
@duncanriley Duncan I don't have it directly in gmail yet in the UK, but it works fine on the iPhone if you go to http://www.google.com/buzz.
I think that Buzz has more potential in the Business world for companies that use GApps (we do) as they are already living in Gmail.
Definately. - Roberto Bonini
I mean I hardly use GMail in my personal life to actually communicate with people, only for websites... Business obviously all the time.
So I wonder how much of Buzz is due to people no longer using email to communicate and an effort to try and keep people in the GMail world?
@rbonini Probably because something like Facebook was a better destination for the FF boys rather than head back to GOOG.
Ooh what's this Google Buzz, Facebook, Yelp, Twitter and Friendfeed all work on my HTC Hero, but *you* don't!!!
WTF I have an 18 month old iPhone and Buzz works... but it doesn't work on a two month old *ANDROID* HTC Hero... epic fail Google!
Really liking what Google Buzz is doing. Looking forward to it coming to Google Apps.
@rbonini Not at full printed version prices. I will no longer buy a printed version due to storage etc, but I won't buy a full price e-book.
If the BBC goes through with Hollywood's DRM on Hi-Def programmes I will be sure *not* to watch Hi-Def shows on BBC. http://www.guardian.co.uk/technol...
