"That's basically a myth. It's about as easy as Windows. Easier for some things. If you're already used to Windows it seems more difficult because it's different from what you're used to. Worth it to learn though. Also gaming on Linux has significantly improved in recent years. Some games actually run better on Linux than Windows.
