Believe it or not SFPD harassed Asians. When I was 15, I remember lying face down on the sidewalk while they searched the guys we were with.
These Tweets may make some of you uneasy. But this is the reality of America. Took me leaving my comfort zone to see/accept certain things.
I've met many talented non US residents educated in the States. They describe America as 'vile' re: acclimation, immigration, Visa issues.
Also: America is very hostile towards those who aren't White. SURPRISE.
That said, grateful for Twitter to shed light on issues people have been fighting against for years.
I get how people can be shocked about what's going on in Ferguson. But as a minority and having worked in hip-hop, I've seen it all.
People are already shitfaced and messy. It's not even 9pm in Tokyo... Because JAPAN.
RT @WesleyLowery: Apparently, in America, in 2014, police can manhandle you, take you into custody, put you in cell & then open the door like it didn't happen
. @WesleyLowery sorry that happened to you but obviously you don't get out much. Happens all day, everyday around the great US of A.
Social media douchebags are the worst.
Edelman published a post on how brands can maximize Robin Williams tragedy. Proves why public loves PR people. Stay classy. (Not linking.)
If you think Japan is super high tech, think again. Flip phone games still rake in US$1.6B: http://www.serkantoto.com/2014... via @serkantoto
Randomly bumped into three different people, in a span of 20 minutes, in a city as massive as Tokyo. Tonight is going to be weird.
Am I the only one who wonders why the US press specifies minority gender / race? Ex: "female entrepreneur" or "(not White race) scientist".
Launch Twitter. See some White guy tweet how Asians should be re-classified as White and inappropriate coroner reports. Close Twitter.
It really bothers me when iPhone or iPad are spelled with a capital i. So much so, I refuse to even type it.

Why are Google and Asian telecos building $300M undersea cable connecting US to Japan?? Seems like a waste of $: http://www.businessinsider.com/r-googl...
RT @tomgara: Obama, or his speechwriter or whoever, really nailed this. https://twitter.com/ethankl...
Southeast Asia and APAC today are reminiscent of the US when technology first started disrupting consumerism (pre share economy). Loving it!
So much Japanese and German money being thrown around in Southeast Asia. Kinda freaks me out: http://www.techinasia.com/southea...
RT @AshleyKMayo: Amen to this. RT @NateSilver538: Tweeting your airline grievances is like drunk dialing the Internet.
Birthday celebrations = bubbly continues for dayyyyys. Love Tokyo. (@ Tusk) https://t.co/laU0pGzWZ0 https://twitter.com/Mona...
Love how 'millennials' differentiate use cases of various social networks. Meanwhile, the old people just megaphone same content everywhere.
Startup Asia is in a few weeks and boy am I super stoked: http://startupasia.techinasia.com/tokyo20... Also just found out @khailee will be there too! ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛)۶
Learning about the startup ecosystem in Ghana. Don't understand why a MEST doesn't exist elsewhere: http://www.forbes.com/sites...

Someone's theory: US VCs get it, but if they speak up, they might get sent to that market. And most Americans don't want to leave America.
I just don't understand why more US entrepreneurs and Angel Investors aren't jumping at the opportunities in emerging markets.
Hanging with giants of Asia tech. Lucky me :) (@ R2 SUPPERCLUB in 港区, 東京都) https://t.co/3MEKOzNkAX
Hope a nerd figures out mobile payments in emerging markets before Rocket and that Filipino teleco does.
Wish I knew more about mobile payments -- solving dual objective problems (social + monetization) will be the next billion $ startup.
RT @jonrussell: Why reporting news based on the unconfirmed stories of others, particularly from Asia, is best avoided http://fortune.com/2014...
