I went off the rails on my June CAL and tried my hand at my own pattern for the top. My husband thinks it looks like an echocardiogram. This took me a month and looks complicated but was actually pretty easy to make. I used the "Midnight Wrap" pattern from Ravelry. I used a 3mm hook instead of 4mm, which made it significantly smaller (duh) but it still has a nice drape to it.
