"Plaxo and Google have collaborated on an OpenID method that may represent the solution to OpenID's biggest problems: it's too unknown, it's too complicated and it's too arduous. Today at the User Experience Summit, Plaxo announced that early tests of its new OpenID login system had a 92% success rate - unheard of in the industry. OpenID's usability problems appear closer than ever to being solved for good." - Jeroen De Miranda

A Groundswell Friendfeed experiment - http://blogs.forrester.com/grounds...
"A Groundswell Friendfeed experiment by Josh Bernoff Friendfeed_logo I don't use Friendfeed much, but I've been watching something very interesting happen around Groundswell there. Chris Herbert, an independent B2B marketing specialist in Ontario, has created a Friendfeed room all about Groundswell. You may know that we collected the links in Groundswell together in a spot on the Groundswell site. But Chris has gone further, and generated a room full of updated feeds from Charlene and me, graphics and videos he's found about the examples in the book, and further discussion. He calls it a "Blook Report" which is either brilliant or wacky or both, I don't know." - Jeroen De Miranda
How to Target and Attract High Quality Twitter Followers from Your Blogging Niche - http://www.twitip.com/how-to-...
"So what is a high-quality, niche Twitter follower? Well for our definition we will say it is someone in your niche with a large “Twitter footprint” and who is an established authority that people trust." - Jeroen De Miranda

Latest collaboration tools failing to take off - vnunet.com - http://www.vnunet.com/vnunet...
"Despite understanding the limitations of using methods such as face-to-face meetings, email attachments and phone conference calls to collaborate, many are too unsure of, or uncomfortable with, newer technologies to rely on them. Interviewees said that problems with established practices centre around security, control of the information once it has been disseminated and the level of engagement that can be offered to recipients." - Jeroen De Miranda

"You have the most responsive customer support I’ve ever experienced with a free — or even, paid — service. Was support built into your strategy? What monitoring tools do you use to stay on top of the questions/feedback? Thanks! Support wasn’t built into our strategy per se, but it’s something that we identified as being very important early on. We learn a lot from our users, so it’s definitely worth the time we invest in it. To help us, we use a small set of (free) tools: BackType Alerts, FriendFeed Search, Search.Twitter.com, and Google Alerts (though they’ve gotten a lot worse lately)." - Jeroen De Miranda

Web Analytics Blog | Occam's Razor by Avinash Kaushik - http://www.kaushik.net/avinash...
"My recommendation is simple: 1) Understand each stage of the customer purchase life cycle. 2) Map your keyword portfolio to each of those life cycle stages (curious, awareness, interested, consideration, purchase etc). 3) Measure success of keywords in each step differently. No: “everyone’s got to convert!” Early stage / upper funnel / long tail keywords are significantly cheaper, let’s hold them to a lower standard." - Jeroen De Miranda

"It’s not a person that gives me the edge. It is searches and friendfeed rooms that give me the edge. http://search.twitter.com is your friend. Use it to track things you are interested in. Then shove those RSS feeds into a room, along with searches from Google Blog Search, Techmeme, and Google News. Here’s a room of my ego searches, for instance, to show you how it works: http://friendfeed.com/rooms..." - Jeroen De Miranda

Adding A Favicon To Your Network - Ning Developer Network - http://developer.ning.com/tutoria...
"Having one is a nice way to customize your network a little bit more and it's pretty easy to setup. Here's how: 1. You'll need to create a file named "favicon.ico" in the proper ICO format. For help creating your favicon there are some great online resources, such as this one, which will resize and convert a regular image file into an ICO file. 2. Once you've created your "favicon.ico" file you can upload it to your network on the Network Information page, found on the Manage tab. That's it! Once the file is in place your favicon should be visible on your network. If you're not able to see your favicon you may need to clear your cache and restart your browser." - Jeroen De Miranda
