More Aussie Political Humor To Come... - Australia goes to the polls on Saturday August 21, 2010. Will it be Julia Gillard, or will it be Tony Abbott? And what jokes will come out in the election campaign? Tony Abbott and his speedos give ample opportunity for a few good jokes, since we call swim togs of that size "budgie-smugglers." Not sure what... - http://amplify.com/u/7u3j

I love my Vodafone Australia post-paid plan, cheapest I've had in years. That said, scratching my head reading of the newer plans and the lesser amount of data on them. If you're going to make money from the net, what's the point of selling LESS data? Or is this a way to encourage people to go with the iPad and iPad plans? - http://geehall1.amplify.com/2010...
While I love my iPad, it's good to see HP and LG gearing up some possible competition to it. Looking forward to HP's WebOS (Palm) tablet especially. However, when it comes to Android tablets, can they do one where the drawer doesn't come in from the side in landscape mode? If I'm going to try an Android tablet, it'd be good if that darn apps... - http://amplify.com/u/7gs0
My HTC Magic, running Cyanogen's latest android 2.1-based custom ROM, also suffers from an iPhone Grip of Death. If I hold it in my left hand, the signal bars drop in number. Hold it in my right, it's back to full strength. Simply put, any time you touch any aerial, TV rabbit ears include, you affect the signal. Who knew this already?
