"I said I don't like Facebook because they censor which is something I said other than I see it differently from you. That's a specific reason. Censorship. Blogging and censorship do not mix. I also said I think you are confused about the meaning of friendship vs blogging. These are my comments and I would prefer not to edit them. You can of course delete them if you would like, just as Facebook deletes what it likes. But a blog is something different than commenting or posting on FB where I can be free without fear of being deleted or hidden." - Andrew Baron
Re: Blogger of the Year - http://scripting.com/2014...
"I read this the other day and had a bad reaction but decided not to post about it. After a couple of days of thinking about, I decided I needed to say something but I am afraid you will not like it. I feel you have confused friendship with blogging and the ability to speak your mind freely. Facebook is not a place to speak freely or be in control of your thoughts (or freely reach your audience). I nominate Facebook as the most antibligging platform of the year. They rounded things off nicely by deleting the post of a Chinese writer for talking about Tibet: http://mobile.nytimes.com/blog..." - Andrew Baron
Good point, and well said Andrew. I write infrequently in a politically based blog, where I'm free to slam all the thieves, crooks, and con artist's that hold undeserved seats of power, be it in DC, or any State.. It's my blog, and I can say anything I want, I allow others to comment about my rants, but they're still mine, and no one can delete them. They're in cyberspace for all time. - Russ Wilson
"Not sure I find the Dean Scream comparable due to the strategic actions of the empowered democrats which all sought to take him down for their own political gain but in this case, I feel the pileon was appropriate and prob nessessry. He said himself it caused him to rethink his behaviors, apologize, and try to live up to better standards while performing his work in the future. I'll bet without such a reaction, he would of gone to court, lost, and perhaps only gotten more pissed and mean. I"ll bet this will change his life and make him a better man." - Andrew Baron
Hello, I am a french economic operator, I am in partnership with correspondents of gold seekers and African politicians who have money to invest, gold-seekers are in possession of a large quantity of gold dust and ingots; they are looking for potential buyers and those who can put them in relation to regular buyers of gold NB: The buyer moves on-site to review the stock, and even a sample will be provided for the analysis of purity - gitz

I wrote a post for Tubefilter about the online video economy today. In the article I argue that YouTube has demolished the video CPM to become little more than a social media content platform, and it’s not the right stage for other types of content, like Breaking Bad for example. What if Breaking Bad – a TV original – was released on YouTube? Do... - http://dembot.tumblr.com/post...

"On just this topic, wondering myself why Google killed their Reader, its kinda interesting that Google hasnt provided any significant rationale. Especially after so many people have spoken up. From what they have said, it seems clear that Google thinks RSS is dying because its looking at useage stats from its Reader, but the problem is that Google's reader sucks so bad, its the product that is dying, not the medium. This is obviously why so many other companies are jumping in. Re: Google's perspective, I figured it ultimately had to do with G+. For just that reason, Ive been going back to G+ to try to understand how they expect that to work, but so far, they have not provided a feature set that is an adequate replacemnet. On the contrary, I asked the folks who circled me on G+ to let me know if they are recieving my updates, and in fact, the majority are not receiving my posts. Its the same for me too. I am following a lot of people on G+ who put out updates, links, news, etc. that..." - Andrew Baron
Re: Digg Blog, Digg Reader Update! - http://blog.digg.com/post...
"I wish there was someone who could convince me that Digg really cares about this after just 90days. If all the developers left the main Digg product behind, when will they leave this one behind? Seriously, people feel burned by Google shutting down Reader, why should we assume Digg will not pivot again when a new, bigger hole needs to be filled? This is too opportunistic of a brand for my taste." - Andrew Baron
