"I think one of the big challenges for PayPass/PayWave technology is actually getting merchants to use it. I've been to several places where they have had the setup where there is a separate NFC reader to the main terminal and the cashiers opt to just use the normal EFTPOS terminal. Also, it would be handy for those like myself who don't necessarily have a great amount of money in their accounts if PayPass transactions could update the "available balance" figure a bit quicker." - Bryce Roney
