I contend that the second half of life can be our journey to wholeness, a deeper engagement with those aspects of life that we have tended to neglect in our earlier years. The second half is about completing unfinished business and preparing to bring our earthly existence to fruition. For us modern western men, the second half can be an opportunity to liberate ourselves from a masculinity that has constricted—and, I would argue, distorted—us to this point. - nazer1
