I'm more concerned about the ruling - its a ridiculous patent again what's next html and css? xml and xsl in general? a farce!

It's mad isn't it. It's like patenting a byte or a linefeed. The joke is that pretty much every bit of software will use XML in it somewhere. I assume the judgement will be overturned.
