The Pixel’s Power When the original Chromebook Pixel came out in 2013, we marveled at Google's gall in charging over $1,300 for such a modestly powered computer. With only 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and dismal five hour battery life, there wasn’t much you could do with a Pixel that you couldn’t do better on a different machine for the same price—or much less.
