[Solved] Does anybody know if I can strip the two female connectors on a RCA 'Y' Adapter so I can use it on a speaker with red and black wires? Like in the picture. So in the end it would make a speaker with a RCA plug at the end.
a little help? - Alfredo 亜瑠布れっど
You could. Although I think Radio Shack or Best Buy probably sells that kind of adapter. - Steven Perez
what is it called? a speaker wire to rca plug adapter? - Alfredo 亜瑠布れっど
Yeah, there's even some solderless connectors at Radio Shack. - Rodfather
Why do you need this? You have a Mini Stereo system that uses a RCA connector for the speakers? - Rodfather
i have a speaker system that uses rca plugs and speaker wire outputs. the right speaker wire output does not work anymore (i don't know what happened to it. the actual right speaker still works though) now if I could only make this speaker connect to the rca output and bypass the speaker wire output, i could have my right channel working. - Alfredo 亜瑠布れっど
woot! found a simpler solution, instead of doing this, i bought a solderless phono plug like this: http://www.hometech.com/hts_ima... at radio shack. - Alfredo 亜瑠布れっど
