I've moved my main blog from Posterous to Amplify and Blogger because of this negative campaign - M F

Interesting! Wonder if anyone else had that reaction. I have a certain loyalty to Blogger which is consistently improving. WordPress for clients that want 'more involved' layouts and has certainly kept up with the changing times ... and also visited Amplify numerous times last month to watch developments there. - Charlie Anzman

I was already unhappy with Posterous as it lacks a community as such, then came Amplify that showed how you can have a decent blogging platform with autoposting and a lively community. And this negativity made it easier for me to decide to move away from Posterous. - M F
