Hey FF HR folks & job hunting gurus! Today I'm going to scope out the shop where I want to work, get a feel for the place. Then tomorrow write my letter about why I want to work there so much & go apply. I really want this, so what can I do to demonstrate my enthusiasm & awesomeness? What if I baked cookies to go with my application or something?
On a related note, boy it feels amazing to be walking around & feeling capable of doing things again.

In your interview I'd hammer in your enthusiasm for the product line, but more than that, I'd emphasize how reliable you are and to what extents you've to gone to for your job (use your trip as evidence). Employers like stability.

Oh, I should repeat: this is for a full-time retail position at a woman-owned, positive, ethical, hippie-ish sex shop: http://www.a-womans-touch.com/ I have intermittent retail experience throughout my work history, nothing in this type of store but I have a pretty decent history that shows I'm a reliable worker who gradually becomes indispensable. Every company I worked for, I was hired to do one thing but eventually did many things before leaving. I am afraid there will be stiff competition as it's full-time with benefits.

"Stiff competition" *snrk*
