Why can't we subscribe to the atom feed which is created by a search ? It would be useful, nop ?
I think this works - example: http://friendfeed.com/search... .

Actually, if you try to add this feed (by using the Custom RSS/Atom service) to an imaginary friend or a group, it does not work. It says "We could not download the given page". Any idea why ? (whereas I can add it in netvibes...)

yeah, one friendfeed feed can't be added directly to another friendfeed account or group. putting the feed through an external site like yahoo pipes is one workaround, feedburner is another good option
