"Thank G-d I'm not the only one.
1. I also say Thank You as well when things do what their supposed to.
2. When things are taking longer then they're supposed to, I'll gesture towards the monitor with my hands and say "Voobaah!" as if I'm a stage magician and a magic gesture is needed to activate the magic.
3. When things are going ... poorly I'll often exclaim "Shrek!" (which predates the movies). I had no idea what meant at the time (it was meant as a watered down version of feces). I've been told by a developer I know that it's a curse in Armenian meaning roughly "fear".
4. The moment I figure out how to handle a tough task I'll say "Eureka".
5. I'll often narrate my though process "If I it passes this test, it sets this variable and foo will happen". This is disturbing when I'm at home since my partner always thinks I'm talking to her.
6. Most disturbing, when I'm booting / rebooting my laptop I'll gently stroke the side of my laptop waiting for it to be useable."
