Factually, Gray did what many others simply don't realize is the most important factor in this type of transition. In a small period of time, and after experimenting with his online persona, he got out and physically networked with all kinds of people in a variety of spaces in the industry ..... and he did a lot of it. His writing style is also somewhat unique in tech blogging circles, generating an air of trust and transparency.
