Don't get Bolton's attack on Clinton rescuing Laura/Euna for NK trespass. Powell went to China for Bush after a spy plane crashed there. Maybe we should have disavowed that too. Yeah, I'm sure even more sanctions and belligerence would have gotten them released quickly. :-p
One can accuse NK of committing terrorist acts in the past, but you can't call arresting someone who trespasses on your sovereign territory "terrorism" and negotiating for their release "negotiating with terrorists". We arrest foreign citizens all the time who illegally enter, and sometimes when they break our laws, their government's embassies have to try and negotiate/help them. Does that make us terrorists negotiating with others? :)

Bolton has to say something bad about it. That's just who he is, AFAICT. I believe someone said yesterday "If all we have to do to get countries like NK to do what we want them to is send an ex-president to hang out for a few hours, that's fine by me."
