Meanwhile, I saw my MD (followup for the car accident) and my BP is WAY up, along with my pulse rate.Tachycardia, again, most likely coming from the Graves. She wants an EKG to make sure nothing's going to pop. As soon as PT wraps up, I need to get the uptake test done so I can take the radioactive cocktail that will kill off the thyroid gland.

Thanks - me too. Thing is, I was on target for the uptake test, then the car wreck happened. I need to knock out the damage from that before I pursue the thyroid stuff. I'm thinking about seeing if they can squeeze me in for the EKG tomorrow and throw me (back) on beta blockers. They've helped previously.

Back on beta blockers - hopefully my heart decides to behave. No arrhythmia though, which is good - I was just vibrating at a very high rate of speed.

It was a little freaky - pulse was 110 most of the day yesterday and I had the accompanying chest pains. Feeling better now, if maybe just a little "blah" due to the beta blockers. Thanks for asking. :)
