"You know I didn't mean this as a "don't bother VCs with multiple intros" but I can understand why it's being read that way by some people. In my mind a VC should respond to every intro request so long as it's customized to them and not obviously a cut/paste thing. I try to do this. So multiple data points is more about social proof than reaching me. And to be honest, if a bunch of random people just pass along a founder's note without know/vouching for that founder, I'll think less of the person passing it to because they aren't applying any filters of their own." - hunter walk
