It really unlocks some powerful tools. The ability to see what the file is clearly, and the ability to preview video is a big plus for me.

I'm a bit funny with my icons. They have to be neat and arranged in a nice little line on the right hand side. Anything out of place and I can't deal with it! It's a good idea to have them quite big though to see exactly what you need where and when.

Yunus, that's bang on. It helps me keep the most relevant files handy, but also forces me to archive stuff once I'm done with it. It's the best of both worlds if you ask me.

I like large icons.
- Khürt Williams
Like Charlotte I keep only one vertical line of desktop icons on the right side. Large enough so that the bottom-most icon is actually at the bottom (usually ~90 for me). And I only keep drive icons + aliases to my Upload & Download directories on my desktop.
