Let's have some fun. Who can find me the longest valid, registered domain name? And no fair registering it yourself... prize to the winner =)

Bonus points if the page is What you need, when you need it

"What you need, when you need it." Awesome.

http://www.atsixtythreesymbols... (warning: it's link farmish). I needed it for this challenge, but that's too flimsy for even me to award bonus points :)

Can you add an adendum to your request. The link has to go to a real website?

Rahul's domain pick was apparently submitted to and rejected by Guinness World Records. Rejection letter: http://www.sabahan.com/2007...

Further googling has revealed that a domain name can't exceed 63 characters. I don't like limits :(

In the early 90s, I think '95, I found an exploit of this limit (63 characters) as many internet apps had a char buf[64] or buf[256] declared for domain names, leading to a buffer overflow attack. Good ole Netscape 1.1: http://seclists.org/bugtraq...
