"I wouldn't be at all surprised if we see a purchase of Netflix by Amazon in the near future. Netflix's reliance on AWS indicates that Amazon probably has some influence on them. I think Amazon is waiting it out to see how this market shapes up (to see if they can do it more cheaply).
