Last night a college friend called me from a bar and listed all the other college people who were there having a good time. They angrily yelled "why aren't you guys here?" I was all "why aren't we where?" Turns out two of our friends are getting married today. They forgot to invite both me and my husband. Ouch.

Friend: "This sucks. It would have been really fun to spend some time with you!" Me: "Yes. Yes, it would have." I'm trying not to feel too angry, but while my college buddies are fun, I've been grappling for years with the fact that they're just not very good friends. This did not help, lol :P

Yeah, thanks for letting me vent. This one was new to me, and I really wanted confirmation that it was as messed up as it seemed to me, but posting about it on facebook or whatnot is bound to cause drama.
