Hmm, interesting new injury the last few weeks. Trouble walking. I'm fine but after 5 mins, soles of feet and calves burn like crazy.

Is is more the bottom of your calves?

Yes I'd say so. I have flat arches, short achilles and orthodics

Obviously, I'd recommend consulting someone, but FWIW, that's how the plantar fasciitis I had presented at first. It was far more typical later on. Stretching my calf muscles in a certain way is what finally helped me recover.

Oh no. I better hit the podiatrist again

I mean, it may totally not be that, but definitely worth having someone take a look. Thankfully, those calf exercises were dead easy, and I felt better within /days/ instead of the months it can sometimes take.

Been doing a lot of cardio and leg press work, I hope it's just that. Does it ever totally go away ?
- Mo Kargas
Mine did. No problems now at all. It had been bugging me for a while, and then I switched how I was stretching... bam! gone in like two weeks.

I'll book in now and look up some exercises

If they give you that diagnosis, this is what I was doing: http://well.blogs.nytimes.com/2014... under doctor's advice
