"Security was my main concern with Greplin at the time as well. From what I gathered they also had pretty high infrastructure costs & trouble converting users to paying customers. The problem they solved is as, if not more, relevant today as it was back then, with the number of services in use increasing (Appstorm is a testament to that!). To this end, I've been working on https://starthq.com which does the same thing as Greplin, but via a browser extension without needing access to your data.
